I just read through Rice's last 'give to our fund' magazine. It listed donors by class, so I looked through my graduating class to see who had given. I recognized a lot of people I knew, but what was interesting was that there were only four Christians. What does that say about our generosity? Are we less thankful to our school, or do we give more in other venues? How do non-Christians interpret it?

I just spent a while reading some of my friends' blogs. Only two or three have written anything in about nine months. Seems like it is about time to move some more to the dead blogs section.

In Mathew 22, the Pharisees tried to trap Jesus but, of course, Jesus won the debate. What is interesting is that they were amazed- and left. It seems to me that someone who was truly amazed would want to stay to find out what other amazing things will happen. But I guess that's only true of people who are open to the truth.

Rhea just got back from Thailand. She brought Anna a pearl necklace and a really cool paper with old Thai printed on it. She brought me a learn Thai book for kids and a Thai-English dictionary. Now I know what I can do with all my free time.
