In a time of trouble, in a time forlorn,
There is a hiding place where hope is born.
In a time of danger, when our faith is proved
There is a hiding place where we are loved.

There is a hiding place, a strong protective space,
Where God provides the grace to persevere;
For nothing can remove us from the Father's love,
Tho' all may change, yet nothing changes here.

In a time of sorrow, in a time of grief,
There is a hiding place to give relief.
In a time of weakness, in a time of fear,
There is a hiding place where God is near.

She moves like sea breezes
Swirling around me
The fragrance that she leaves
Hangs in the air
Soft as a whisper
She's calling me to her
These eyes have seen
The most beautiful dream

We went to a concert tonight that was a lot of fun. Its been a while since I've been to a concert or show just for entertainment and I didn't realize how much I miss it. Its really not the same when you're working 40+ hours each week and going to class and grading on top of that. Especially on days when I close, it almost rules out any kind extra activity because everything from mid afternoon until 11:30pm is booked. I should look into more of the arts around this area (especially the free ones and ones I can go to in the morning).

In Other News...
You can see a picture of me that Anna posted on her blog.

If you were considering doing your taxes without your W2's or 1099's, I wouldn't recommend it.

HE IS RISEN!!

In Other News...
I've been engaged for just over a week and we've already figured out the date, got a unity candle, and booked our honeymoon. Does wedding planning usually go this quick? By the way, you had better all plan on coming out to Oregon for Labor Day this year because we're going to have a rocking party on September 3rd.

Where in Oregon? I wonder if I can drive...
So you're like an hour away and I haven't seen you since Renea visited- what's the deal?
Well, admitedly I lost your phone number. That may have factored in.
Happy Planning!

Here's a question for you to ponder:

Did Jesus LIKE everybody while He was on Earth?

BeerBike. I just remembered that today was BeerBike but its too late to call and see how it went. I went to Rice's webpage and couldn't find the results, but I did find this documentary about it. Interesting stuff. Beer.Bike.Balloons | A Beer-Bike Documentary

I also found some more Xanga sites for some Rice friends, but I decided not to post links to any ones that haven't been updated in the last three months. So, Julia and Todd, if you want to make it into my prestigious and exclusive list of fellow bloggers, I'm going to need to see some more online activity. And if anyone who actually reads this (please be somebody) ever sees Todd or Julia please tell them that I saw there blog and that I've been thinking about them (even before finding their blogs) and prayig for them. I may be halfway across the country, but in many ways, my heart is still in Texas.

BTW, if you were at BeerBike, post something and tell me how it went.
