Something interesting just occurred to me (yes its 3:45 AM). I had been thinking about how the decisions of a ruler can positively or negatively affect a community in a major way. My example was David, who through his leadership brought Israel close to the Lord and caused a plague that ravaged the people. That's well and good for leaders, but after reading a friend's blog (Renea 12-2-03 ) I remembered Achan and how the sin of this nobody caused the Israelites to be routed in a battle against the small town of Ai. Conversely, the prophets and disciples were nobody's but their faithfulness has led to uncountable blessings. Regardless of who we are, our choices affect our world.

BTW, the Blogger spellchecker doesn't have the word blog. lol
