Example Number One why its stupid to drink and drive.

11:28 tonight, some guy drove onto campus and rammed the bollards in front of my college. The police figured he was going about 40mph when he hit. Within seconds there were probably 40 college students laughing as he tried to limp his wreck of a car down the road and turn it around. When he hit the curb again, he got stuck and his car died and he was trapped inside. He banged it up on all four sides (aparently running over the bollard spun him sideways a bit) and completely tore the front passenger side to pieces. Lovett students found it hilarious (especially since the guy wasn't hurt) and even the campus police saw the humor in the situation. One officer remarked "At least we know the bollards work."

So unless you envy the guy's position of a DUI, spending the night in jail, a totaled car, and being laughed at by a bunch of curious college students, don't drink and drive!

PS. If you're curious, I have pics.
