So I got an email from GIAL, describing the going ons of various people I knew while I was there. Often when I get these type of emails and miss my friends. Oh well, sometime I'll see them again.

My parents have been visiting for the last week and half. It's been fun having them here. They came partially to visit and partially to help us fix up our house. We've mostly been focusing on running a gas line into the laundry room, painting the outside, installing new windows and trim, and planting a bunch of flowers. If we had a little more time, we'd build a deck or redo the walkway or install a sprinkler system, but those will have to wait until later. Unfortunately all the projects have taken much longer than we thought (especially the windows). But it's been fun and the house looks a lot nicer now. Oh, I also have gutters to put up (not that it's been raining lately, but it does help protect the siding). Oh well, at least I have a plan for some of the projects, so they shouldn't be too bad.

With all the remodeling, I'm beginning to feel the desire to redesign my blog's style. Any suggestions?
